Federal tax: 2026 standard deduction $16,100 single / $32,200 married joint; progressive rates 10–37%. AMT adds back the standard deduction and uses the 2026 exemption with a 50% phaseout.
Social Security 6.2% up to $184,500. Medicare 1.45% without a cap. Additional Medicare 0.9% above $200,000 single / $250,000 joint. Employer withholding begins at $200,000 and can differ.
CA uses the 2026 EDD Method B annual withholding schedule, not final return tax rates. Applies regular DE 4 allowances and low-income exemption. SDI is 1.3% of all wages.
NY uses 2026 Method II/III annual withholding, including high-income transitions. NYC uses its own official table; Yonkers residents pay 16.75% of state withholding. Same-state residence/employment; no commuting into Yonkers from outside.
NY PFL is 0.432%, capped at $411.91/year. DBL is 0.5%, capped at $0.60/week × 52. Your employee/employer contribution selection applies. Traditional 401(k) supports only the $24,500 annual base limit.
Under-65 ordinary W-2 wages, single or one-earner married joint, standard deduction. Dependents, tax credits (including EITC), refunds, tips/overtime deductions, health insurance, HSA, itemized deductions, multiple employers, interstate income, state AMT, extra insurance, Roth and catch-up contributions are outside the supported scope.
Current wage withholding for all 50 states. Newly added states default to 0 elected form allowances. AZ uses the A-4 elected percentage (default 2%); CT uses single code F / one-earner married code C; CO assumes no DR 0004 adjustment. PA includes 401(k) in state wages. Extra deductions and low-income credits are excluded.
